About This Job:

Our Territory Sales Manager will be responsible to achieve sales targets, grow market share with distributors/channel partners and create/ service grower demand for Syngenta products by selling ‘value adding’ crop solutions and delivering outstanding customer service.
We are looking for team members with a positive attitude, excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills and a willingness to learn, be motivated and challenged.

In this role you will build distributor channel relationships through planning, managing direct calls, workshops, seminars, field days, and commercial demonstrations; professional management of complaints and non-conformance inquiries.

You will be accountable for the following responsibilities with coaching and training provided to help you excel in your role:

·         Meet territory sales and market share targets and objectives; use Key Account Management effectively and maximise the use of the Customer Relationship Management database.
·         Assist in development of state/region forecast by accurate territory forecasting on a regular basis
·         Update the CRM database and key account profiles including sales information and for ‘share of wallet’ for analysis. Use CRM for weekly reporting and all activities, planning and recording.
·         Analyse territory crop markets; grower practices/needs, statistics, technology, trends, economic conditions, competitor activity, key influencers and value chain participants.
·         Develop and implement annual territory business/activity plans to influence grower demand, often in cooperation with channel partners.
·         Provide market feedback on competitors, customers, key influencers, products, performance and pricing.
·         Input to regional/State sales and marketing solution; planning process (opportunities, competitive responses).

Qualifications

Bachelor degree (Agriculture/Horticulture, preferred) with at least 5 – 7 years of relevant experience.

Essential Knowledge & Experience:
Strong Customer relations background / knowledge
